Hello, I am David the founder or FirstTimeDriver.info and I have been driving for over 25 years having passed my test (second attempt!) in one of these:
My first car – a white Triumph 1500
My eldest son – Ben was 17 in March 2010. He drove me crazy on the lead-up to his 17th birthday about getting driving lessons and his first car.
This raised many questions including;
- How do you get a provisional license?
- What is the Theory Test about?
- Where can I find a good local driving instructor?
- What is a good first car?
- How do I get the best deal on insurance?
- And importantly what advice is there for parents?
I was disappointed with the answers I found on the Web and so decided to create FirstTimeDriver.Info!
We have ambitious plan to make this the first port of call for First Time Driviers. It is really important for us to get your feedback – what do you like or dislike and what you would like to see more or less of. How do we make money?
FirstTimeDriver.Info is independent and aims to impartial and unbiased and to represent the interests of you the consumer at all times. We want to be the MoneySavingExpert.com for First Time and Learner Drivers. We make money from a few ads and referrals to other sites.
